Sorry. I got no answer to that question. Because it is an impossible equation.
So in Denver you can have a t-shirt one day, and the next day you can be snowed in. I do love it, but I haaaate snowdays and how they just screw you over as a working parent. I believe that the optical working woman in America is youngish, childless, and in suuper duuuper health. Anything else, and you are a burden. Want to hear more of my ranting? I didn't think so.. so I will stop. Grr...
I did, however, start to cry with a stranger the other day, which was cool. Crying with strangers is kind of my thing, last time I cried with a complete stranger was with a polish immigrant, we talked about home and both just became overfilled with sadness of what we left. He told me about his best friend, and I told him about my grandmother.
Anyway, this time a woman told me about herself, she told me how she was a single mom, took care of her elderly father ad got fired because she had to take time off when her infant had a surgery. BUT thanks to that she got so mad on how her job treated her as a mom, an employee and as a woman so she filed charges, yelled out load and eventually president Obama reached out and she had a freaking sit down lunch with him. Want to read about it? HERE you go. You go Shelby!
